Bob was stationed a Point Reyes Lifeboat Station from January 25 - June 23, 1942. He was advanced from Apprentice Seaman to Seaman 2nd/Class. He was attached to Point Reyes Coastal Lookout from June 23, 192 to August 18, 1943 and was advanced to Seaman 1st/Class.
