Best Friends
No "best friends" made in this Boot Camp
Best Moment
Graduation Day, went home on 14 days "Boot" leave.
Worst Moment
Taking off gas masks in Tear Gas indoctrination.
Instructors
Quartermaster CPO Griffin. Do not know why he was ever selected for DI, he was totally inept.
Other Memories
Members of our company for "leadership" slots were nor based on previous military experience or any other leadership skills. It was a "popularity" contest; selection made by CPO in charge. I had 2 years prior Army service, and was not considered at all.
