I have gone back to part time work doing Grounding and Power Audits for Telephone Companies around the US, working for Genband Inc using the RUS Procedures as required, something I really enjoy doing. I am a Gideon so that is another mission I love. Also invlolved with The American Legion as a member of Post 67, Cary, NC as the Public Relations Officer. In addition I am a Cary Chamber of Commerce Ambassador so that takes up some of my time.
I am a board member of the 4th Branch representing the retirees and soon to be retired US Coast Guard personnel in NC. Our mission is to extend the Bailey Settlement to all federal and state retirees so they will not have to pay state taxes on their pensions. In addition I am a member of the Sister Cities of Cary Association. In April 2016 I received my Senior Membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
